So for those of you interested in joining me for the big October Group Reboot, we have decided to use the pre-made plan from the Reboot w/Joe website. No need for me to reinvent the wheel, when they have such a fabulous resource ready for us! We are going to do the 15 Day: Juicing Plus plan. There is a 50 page pdf you can download that has a menu for each section, a shopping list, and the recipes. I decided that since I haven't done this specific plan myself that I would use this week to get acquainted with some of the recipes. As you can see, my fridge is overflowing with veggies and fruit! But, we are officially starting on Monday, Oct. 14th! And you want to know something really really really awesome? Joe, himself, the guy who started this whole juicing revolution, is planning on sending some encouraging words to our group next week as we begin!! He (and I) both are soooooooo proud of everyone who has committed: over 220 of you!!
Introducing Joe's Kale Avocado Salad:
I don't think I'd normally be excited about a raw kale and purple cabbage salad, but this one was REALLY GOOD. It had the perfect combination of ingredients and a wonderful homemade dressing.
Beautiful. Healthy. Perfect for the first week of a Reboot OR any other day of the entire year!! #itwasthatgood
Note: I used raw garlic cloves in this salad and minced it myself. I felt like the garlic was a bit spicy/strong, and next time I'd use the sweeter jarred minced garlic instead.

- Combine all ingredients.
- Stir thoroughly.
